The LUXR firmware running in your browser: the same C code as on the M-VAVE FM-1 (sound engine, sequencer, screens, patch store), compiled to WebAssembly. Play it with the mouse, touch, your computer keyboard or a MIDI keyboard.
The emulator starts with 13 preset patches. Import the .luxr file the LUXR update page saves with “Download backup”. Each patch goes to its own slot
and is converted like a restore on the device. Click a blue slot to load it. Patches stay in this browser; “Export backup”
writes a file the update page can restore to a real FM-1.
Knobs: drag up or down, or use the mouse wheel. MASTER is the volume. On a phone, turn it sideways.
MIDI works in Chrome and Edge once the emulator is on. Notes on a sound's MIDI channel play it, alone on its channel it plays tonally (C3 = original pitch).
Every screen explained in the LUXR manual. Not emulated: firmware updates, USB audio and the battery.
